Remember Juniper, the famous pet fox, who confused a bed with snow? Turns out, she became best friends with a dog named Moose who was also rescued at a very young age.
Moose, an Australian Shepherd mix, became her guardian from the very first day Juniper was brought home. They eat together, sleep together and Juniper acts like a little girl with a crush when she is around Moose.
“Juniper is in love with Moose and spends all day trying to get as much of his attention as possible,” – her mom, Jessika, told Bored Panda. “I brought Juniper home when she was only five weeks old. Moose was raised around all kinds of animals so when she ran up to him tail wagging and crying they were instantly friends.”
“Foxes put their butts on things they want to own or think is theirs. Moose gets sat on daily. I’ll often walk into the room and see Moose laying down with such a glum look on his face while Juniper is there just sitting in this head smiling.”

While their friendship is straight from a fairytale, Juniper’s mom warns on her Instagram that having a fox is not just like having a dog or a cat: “Foxes smell. Bad. Their urine and feces smell like skunk mixed with ammonia. There is no way to ‘de-scent’ a fox. Foxes are destructive, they will destroy things in your house. They also need taurine, or they can go blind, suffer from seizures, and even die…” Read this before you even consider trying to get a fox for a pet!

Share on FacebookI do believe people should leave animals in the wild but I do love the fact that people raise animals who have been injured or separated
Bestest friends forever. So awesome, thanks to the owner for loving them both. More importantly, thank you to the owner for pointing out that foxes come with baggage and is not an ideal pet for all & sundry. My absolute thanks.
i`ve been following these guys this year, best thing on instagram! theres 2 other foxes now too,fig and elmwood(the baby)
They are adorable!! And their owner is doing amazing work by educating people on what it means to own a fox, all their needs and "difficulties", since too many people's reaction to these gorgeous pictures is "oh, I want one too!!" :) Kudos!
SO CUTE ! I want one but I can't have one because of where I live :_l and it doesn't belong in a house as long as it's happy :l oh well.....
Get information first: bylaws in your area regarding whether or not you can keep wild animals, what type of health and behaviour problems you can have with foxes. Also check wildlife centres and animal rescue groups to see if you can work with foxes. That would help you get a good idea of the work involved in keeping a fox and it would help the organization. Having a fox might involve a lot of work, which mean you have to be home schooled or work from home or never go on vacation.
Load More Replies...I only recommend going to a professional wildlife person and asking advice from them first and also foxes aren't meant to be pets so rescue
