The Earth is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.
The Earth is what we all have in common. It is where we are born and will die. It’s in your hands to make that time meaningful. When we start to discover The Earth, it becomes a common ground and a common bond and we cease to be alone. We’ve been looking down and around us until we could go beyond the skies and take a look at ourselves from afar. Looking from this new perspective gave our lives a new meaning. You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.
