Jeff Bezos’ Fiancée Blasted For Wearing “Disrespectful” Gown At White House In Front Of Japanese Prime Minister
Lauren Sánchez flipped the script on formal fashion, sending the internet’s tongue wagging after her recent appearance at a White House state dinner.
The 54-year-old journalist and philanthropist made quite the impression as she stepped out with fiancé Jeff Bezos, 60, for the state dinner honoring Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the most famous address in the U.S.
Lauren was all decked out in a revealing red corset gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline for the event on Wednesday, April 10. The fiery red Rasario gown, with a price label of $2,300, also had a structured corset bodice with sheer lace in the abdomen area.

Meanwhile, her trailblazing billionaire fiancé stood beside her in a classic black tuxedo, adhering to the traditional black tie standard of the White House.
“How it started …how it ended. Such a beautiful evening in DC. Can’t wait to show you more tomorrow,” Lauren said as she shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram, showing off her look from the White House affair.

“Such inappropriate dress for the White House,” one commented on her Instagram post while another quipped, “Not a good look for the White House!! Where’s your respect!! Social Media agreeing with me 100%!!!!!”
“Lauren, beautiful dress, but not appropriate for a state dinner honoring Japan – a country with a very conservative, modest culture. I know you have a lot of fans here, but isn’t it more important to consider the guests of honor than IG?” another wrote.

Lauren and Jeff, who comfortably remains among the top 3 richest billionaires in the world, have been together for about four years. They got engaged in May, 2023.
“When I first heard his laugh, I was like: ‘Whoa! What is that?’ Now I love it. And if I’m at a party and we get separated, all I have to do is wait a second and he laughs and it’s like, he’s over there,” she said in an interview with WSJ magazine.
“He’s so happy, he inspires me every day, he makes me a better person every day; he’s the most loving human I know,” she added.

This is absolutely wrong for a state dinner: wrong colour, wrong kind of dress and, most of all, far too much skin. Perhaps Bezos should consult with an etiquette expert?
