I've wanted to go to Japan ever since I was a child. Its culture, nature, and architecture - I always thought those were absolutely beautiful.
Last month, I was finally able to fulfill my childhood dream and let myself get consumed by this marvelous country. I must admit when I stepped out of the Tokyo train station I could not stop myself from tearing up because the desire that I have been holding for the past 20 years was finally within my grasp.

I would love to see the original photos next to the finished ones. Some are too heavily worked over for my taste, or maybe they are indeed not photos at all? A private joke?
I don't get this obsession to ask if pictures are real, fakes, worked over or anything. As long as somebody shows pictures in the name of art, it doesn't matter at all.
This. Thank you for pointing it out. Photography is a medium. Just like one can write essays, research papers or fiction, one can take photos of journalism, documentation, or art.
Its even more silly when this person idea of " real photos" are usually heavily altered over processed photos from pro photographers from the 60s notice how ppl act like photo editing is brand new but seem to forget every photo of actresses from the late 19th century through 60s often show no zits , no acne, no cellulite etc in most of the photos you dont even see pores yet these idiots think thats more natural than today's photoshopped photos and it blows my mind . Photo editing wasnt invited in the 2000s its as literally as old as photography itself.
That's what it looks like. He might have cleaned up the images a bit, but that's pretty much it.
I would love to have the top one on my wall. They are all stunning.
Japan is such a beautiful country and these photos are so amazing!
Amazing photos, I love seeing places, that I'll probably never get to see in person, through someone else's eyes, I truly appreciate that.... thank you .
