My kids get bored really quickly. In these pandemic times they cen not go out and play at public playgrounds, go to school and preschool to meet friends and have fun with them.
They got bored with playing the same toys all days. And I didn’t want them to end up watching smartphones and tablets for hours. As I’m a designer and creative director I started to think what can I do to. I wanted to create something completely new, something that would excite them, inspire them, make them invent new ways of playing in house. And that’s how these tiny cardboard houses / hide outs / XL figure toys was born. I wanted to create a cardboard house, that would be a toy at the same time. Kids can hide in it, draw in it, write secrets, hide small treasures in secret lockers inside. And also this toys learn them to think different, outside of the box – A bee, that is a house? That’s something new :). My kids feel safe inside, it’s their asylum, cocoon. It also unite the family, because it’s parents job to put this toy together. But don’t worry, no glue or tols needed.
