Honestly, I’m just a guy who believes in more then whats handed to us on the surface level. Living a life of debt accumulated by the ‘get in line’ take from the systems need to consistently create based on greed. I went along my journey to find what is most important to me. ME. This journey consisting of punishment through failed attempts to find a heart beat within creation that best aligned with me. An alignment in the form of craft, a craft so well suited to my very own being to maximise understanding of all that I have to offer, all that IT has to offer. This came in the form of what I thought at the time was fashion before art, creating menswear clothes for over four years in my moms house in her front room. It played out the course it was only ever meant to, creating the bridge to my destination. But what seemed like a four year game of snakes and ladders, I slowly climbed only to fall down a ladder bringing me right back to the start with only a bag full of self investment. Which in a world that thrives of external motives meant my bag full of self investment, love and internal richness had no value to contributing to a sustainable life in the world we’ve created. Until I found me, until i found IT. Until I found art. The destination the bridge was un knowingly being build towards. The one thing I could only ever count on as a child had faded into a transparent pane of glass right in front of my eye’s, what I loved the most was forced out of my skin through a deadly combination of lack of self awareness and society, starting from our most susceptible years during school education, to failing my first business venture… I lost me. It took a whole lot of intimidation, cornering and compression to create heavy sighs of pain which soon enough started to steam up my pane of glass for me to acknowledge its presence again. And through nurturing my craft I found acrylic mediums, which combined with memory, point of view, and emotions all in forms of colour flow and earths elements, I can now express my part in communicating a level of understanding from all that I have to share…With a little help from the earth and its frequencies we’re all just trying to attune too sitting in different colour combinations attached with the physical form of natural elements in mind…I try to take this kick ass superhero/sidekick duo, and create to possess meaning. To create focus points to help provoke understanding through the appreciation to detail in abstract. A process of surroundings and emotions recreated. To share, and give the imagination a chance to be heard.
