This would be for hive bees. Solitary bee varieties sleep in flowers regularly. I used to work in a garden center, and one early morning an elderly lady wanted to buy a plant with a "bee decoration." Apparently, their shape is to cope with the variable climate in which they grow. So I've seen this on here several times over the years, and it's always misidentified. These are not houses, these are allotment plots. Still a great innovation, but it should be pointed out that these are not residential. Instead it should be celebrated that community gardens and growing your own crops are given such priority and intention.
