Inspired By The Transformative Effects Music Had With My Great Gran With Dementia – I Invented The Music Memory Box – Now I Want To Put It Into Production For Other Families Across The World
Hi I’m Chloe Meineck – I’m a 28 year old inventor. While visiting my Great Gran who was living with dementia as a child, I witnessed the transformative effects of music had on her. Music helped us reconnect and I had her back to her usual self through the music.
I found that there was a lack of products, so I decided to create my own in honour of my Great Gran. From the first version, I have worked with hundreds of families and people living with dementia in the UK and Japan.
Now the Music Memory box is being launched to the world through a Kickstarter campaign which is live now – until 5th April 2019.
