On my first day in Antananarivo one guy assured me that it would be impossible for solo girl to travel around Madagascar without speaking French and Malagasy.
After I made it to every national park I wanted to visit, climb Pic Boby – “the Roof of Madagascar”on my birthday, took most incredible journeys with local taxi brauses and train (which took 21 hours instead of 12!!) I came back to same hostel day before taking my flight back home. I wanted to see that skeptical guy and share my experiences , but never met him again.
I am incredible lucky traveler and have not even noticed how simple words -“I love you Madagascar!” – became my mantra while traveling there. I was repeating them each time I would see smiling face, breathtaking landscape or tasting delicious food.
I decided to share few pictures with other travelers too, especially with girl adventurers, to proof that being girl and not speaking languages are not reasons for skepticism when it comes to travel and explore the world
