Inspired by a potential battle between these heavyweight companies, we decided to try and imagine how cars might look if they were designed by some of the most recognizable brands in the world today:

IKEA

If IKEA designed cars, they’d invariably be self-assembled, just like the flat-pack furniture the brand is famous for. An Ikea car would be in a minimalistic Scandinavian style and have the famous blue and yellow colors that are emblazoned on the logo.

Airbnb

An Airbnb car would have to be a homely vehicle that allowed its users to enjoy all manner of creature comforts while taking in the sights and sounds they encounter when out on their travels. A viewing bubble for 360° sightseeing and a cosy BBQ and veranda arrangement guarantees that holiday feeling when you’re out on the road.

Instagram

When it comes to Instagram, the look is everything, which is why the windows could change your view, much like the filter feature on the app. The car would have a built-in camera that documents your daily journey and would be fully integrated with other Instagram or electric car drivers.

Amazon

Amazon would merge all of its current features and services into one vehicle, including using Alexa as your designated sat nav expert or driver. Because Amazon prides itself on its super fast deliveries, then it’s no surprise to see an Amazon vehicle has the fastest charging times, maximizing convenience in every way.

Spotify

Spotify has helped to revolutionize the music industry through their streaming service, and if they were to try their hand at cars, an awe-inspiring sound system would be a must. The vehicle would automatically recognize where you are and where you’re going, as well as the driver’s mood. Excited to go to a party? Then it’s time for your favourite headbanger!

GoPro

When you think about the GoPro camera, you tend to think about adventure and exploration, which is exactly what a GoPro car would be for. The vehicle would be tailor-made for off-road and even underwater escapades. It goes without saying that the car would be fitted with crystal clear HD cameras to capture every second of your journey.
