He was much, much larger than the geese. I believe he was a juvenile trumpeter swan. He still had some grey coloring and his bill hadn't completely turned black yet. I'm imagining his life was an "Ugly Gosling" story. :)

No, it's a duck, a feral white duck. Duck bill, duck proportions, same size as the other ducks, smaller than the geese off to the left.
