Recently I got a hold on some ammolite gemstones. Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone. It’s one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen.
You can check them out at my Etsy shop:

Ammolite changes color when in contact with the light.
Ammolite gemstone is basically a fossilized shell of Ammonite, a sea creature that wandered the oceans 65 million years ago.
For the tree I used sterling silver wire.
Red and green are far more common than blue or purple.
Space nebula :)
This one looks like a dragon egg :)
Looks like lava in a stone
And that’s it. I hope you like them ;)
Jessy , It's been over a decade & I no longer have any pieces , although, I still subscribed to 'Lapidary Journal' for an additional 3 years. I never wore my jewelry ..only, when I trudged into stores with my case, or, at a trunk show . I still have a few flat , or, large nugget center piece stones , like azure malachite , & rutilated quartz with titanium needles in the attic somewhere. Thanks for asking, though, & I wish you much success !
I have ammonites, but , ammolites are so beautiful, the AAA ones ,with such radiant beautiful colors, I would mount them simply. I used to make a lot of jewelry , hand knotting pearls , & work with semiprecious stones with gold & silver , although , I did use vermeil wire if I wrapped a stone. I sold to dress stores & boutiques , &, did well until I could no longer get my supplies from Hong Kong when it reverted to China. Then, I sold out, & stopped.
I agree, one of the prettiest gemstone out there. Opals are lovely too, but out of my budget for now :). I would love to see your work!
