I created an emotional comfort wear brand called iworemyheartonmysleeves for those suffering from anxiety, depression, and loneliness. By embracing my love for fashion and helping others.
What inspired me to take action to make this an actual thing i whole heartedly live by is after seeing my 15 year old sister going through depression and nobody in my family taking it seriously.
Being from Ivory Coast and being an immigrant, nobody in my family took mental and emotional health seriously. We thought she was crazy when she would starve, cut, and isolate herself for attention.
Here I am today wanting to change the narrative especially for those of us who are going through a tough time but feel alone through it all without any hope.
