There are some places on this Earth that blow your mind, for their sheer, astounding beauty and opportunity for exhilaration and adventure. The Aiguille Du Midi and the Vallee Blanche in the French Alps is one of those places.

I had the opportunity to explore the Mountains and Glaciers during the high European Summer. This place is phenomenally beautiful, inspiring, and frankly scary.

    I've been to Chamonix, Verbier and Zermatt but never walked the Vallee Blanche. Kudos to you for having the breath to capture these breathtaking images.

    Wow, Eli, these are spectacular! You and your camera have captured the astonishing beauty of these soaring mountain peaks. I especially like the ones with the little ant-people against the snow, dramatizing the contrast between human beings and nature. Well done!
