I’m a Charleston based designer, and I love retro Travel Posters from the early 50’s. But I could never find one that I would love to have in my own home- so I made my own.
As a designer, I began experimenting with my own style to create poster themes out of cities, books, and old 90s Nintendo games that I loved. Poster design became an outlet while working as a User Interface Designer. The latter requires constant give and take and rethinking of someone else’s tastes and likes that I wanted to channel my own creativity into something I had 100% say and design in.
Each poster takes about 4-6 hours to complete, and I have so many that-unfortunately, I don’t have enough room on my apartment walls to accommodate them all :)!
