I Travelled To Spiti – A Cold Mountain Desert In India

I had been planning to travel to Spiti for a very long time, finally this September I managed to backpack my way to this amazing landscape.

Spiti is a cold mountain dessert. The winters in Spiti are extremely harsh. The temperatures go down to -30 degrees casing the entire valley in a blanket of snow, disconnecting the area from the outside world.
