In my self-portraits I embody different characters and create stories about them.

When I was just starting out, back in 2009., it was all about unstaged situations and raw emotions, but nowadays storytelling and an immediate emotional connection with the viewer is what matters to me most.

I shoot with natural light and use colors to emphasize a certain mood in the image. Sometimes I create concepts prior to the shoot (sketching ideas and writing notes), while other times the photo unfolds itself spontaneously.
