I Stopped To Take A Picture At Lake Balaton On The First Day Of 2021, And It Was Worth It

I traveled home on 2021.01.01 and planned to stop at Balaton, Hungary`s largest lake, to catch the sunset. The clouds promised a great light show—it was not clear, not overcast.

Although I was a bit late, I successfully stopped on the eastern shore of the lake. I planned to be near the water, but at the last moment, I decided to take the way on the top of the rocks of Balatonvilagos.

As we were some minutes after sunset, it was better to see the scene from above. As the horizon was cloudy, it was not a big mistake to miss the sunset—the color show that I saw on the clouds was amazing. Standing on the edge of the rocks, it was like floating high over the water... Maybe the photos give back some mood at the moment.

I hope that the year will be as amazing as the view was.
