I named this photo series “Euphoria”. The definition of the word “Euphoria” is “A feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness”.

Expressions and emotions have always attracted me throughout my photography journey. As a former student of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Chittagong, Bangladesh, I had the opportunity to capture the paranormal yet excited state of mind and also the joyous expressions and emotions of people. Because a significant number of concerts happen throughout a year in this one of the top Engineering universities in Bangladesh. I spent over a year of time and so much effort to make this photo series and this is one of my works that is so close to my heart. This series has not been published yet in anywhere in the world.

What happens when we see something beautiful, read something beautiful or listen something beautiful? What goes through our mind? How do we react and how our mind and body reacts? What is our feelings, when we go to a concert and listen to our favorite musics? What emotions go through our body and mind?

I am trying depict the emotions and feeling of excitement and the responses of our body through the emotions through this photo series.

None of these photos is manipulated. I used the combinations of slow shutter speed and external flash technique to take these portraits. I only did color corrections by a photo processing software “Lightroom”.
