I Spent 4 Days Trying To Capture The Prettiest Colours Of The Sky From My Window.

hi! i’m prajwal and i love all things “aesthetic”. that is why i decided to take 4 days off from school to try and photograph the prettiest colours of the sky that i saw in these 4 days.

i did this because i felt like the overall beauty of my city gets lost in all the urban noise & drama.

it took a total of 96 hours to capture these images, hope you like them as much as me!

A COTTON- CANDY SKY FROM MY BALCONY

DAY ONE: i came back home from school, excited to start my four day challenge, and pumped that i was finally doing it!!
it was a little late out for the sunset when i reached my rooftop therefore, the purple is fading away here, however this help me in this following discovery
that from 6:30-7:25 the sky is the brightest. now one may say that the colour seeps in post sunset but as in this case, turns out a bit bland.

THE FIRE OF THE CLOUDS

DAY TWO: i clicked on a whim to look out of my window, and found that the clouds were UNUSUALLY orange.
the light-blue fading into purple provided for a great background and that is what led me to choose this picture. i was, however a little not okay with the silhouette of my plants and all, but it looks better with the silhouette now!!

DAY FOUR:
an overall mild-coloured picture compared to all others, i chose this picture because i felt that the mellow-ness of it all was somewhat appealing, however the sky’s colour changed VERY drastically in a minute or so ( see next pic)

THIS IS A PICTURE OF ME AGAINST A SKY ON FIRE!!

DAY FOUR:
this image confuses me till this day, as i took this picture against a supposedly peach coloured sky,{like the photo behind this} but when i hit low- exposure on the iphone camera, the sky began to burn!!

A ROYAL PASTEL AESTHETIC

DAY FOUR(LATE EVENING)
THIS IMAGE was taken within an hour or so after the sunset. it seems as if the sky got brighter as the evening progressed, but then it zapped out in a blink. this was the third of picture collection , and i began to think why the sky was purple…..
