In many ways the transient postures of seagulls in their flight can very well resemble the inner twists we face every day, trying to achieve our goals.
We may find ourselves joggling many things at once, or just adapting to the changes while we get more understanding of what is that we really want, figuring out the decoys and distinguishing the bling from the real values. These all can make us feel like we need twist and stretch all the time.
It is this inner dance that I tried to capture in the body expressions of seagulls.
So I went on and photographed seagulls in their flight struggling to fetch the food that was thrown at them.
And this is the result…
