The Drag-a-thon raised much-needed donations for ‘Switchboard’ throughout the weekend – a free LGBTI community telephone and counselling service.
Local and interstate drag kings added variety to the event and demonstrated the 86’s commitment to inclusivity and supporting all groups within the LGBTI community.
Getting dressed and made up to be on stage early Saturday morning showed great commitment by all the performers to get behind the 86 and make this a success.
The Drag-a-thon highlighted different styles of drag performances, showcasing a range of different talents from the performers.
Colourful costumes, glitter and sequins featured prominently.
Life is never a drag when you’re in drag…
Fortunately a wide range of drinks and cocktails were always on hand for both the audience and the entertainers.
