My name is Oliwia Zajączkowska. I am self-taught photographer, 21 years old. I create world of my own, where images constitute reflexion of my inner self.
I take photos when I feel urge. Sometimes it is something quite ordinary, but I want to give it an unlikely, entirely new meaning by the way only I can see it; shade, lightbeam, gaze. I am inspired by things I can express feelings with, throw the pain away. I am attracted by depth, darkness, intensity. I percieve photography similarly to film/literature – I only pay attention to things that move me.
Looking at ultimate impression of my photos, I always feel something lacking. This is why I still photograph. I seek.
