We are used to seeing embroidery as a precious and thing for clothes. But embroidery can also be modern and fast and of great impact. My impatience led me to invent a technique that allows me to create a great big picture in a day. A luxurious piece, yes but I can use any material, even cheap that can be sewn by gluing plastic or leather, pieces of metal or paper. My passion is portraiture, although I have to say I'm not that good at drawing. But to embroider it instead comes naturally to me. This embroidery is perfect for creating bed heads or covering the armchairs. There are no delicate beads that can fall with time. By the way, for my decorated panels I use the water-repellent base, easily washable.

I opened my own embroidery school in 2009 and from there I always had nice offices in the center of Rome. Buying a big house was always my dream, which I realized two months before the pandemic. I saw more than 250 villas before finding a suitable space to live and work. The whole floor below the villa is dedicated to the embroidery workshop. Upon entering my house you immerse yourself in a reality where every corner, every object has undergone a makeover of the artist. Here you can see all my embroidered works with collage, a bazaar of souvenirs, from my endless travels to the discovery of new artistic techniques. Those who come here to study embroidery immerse themselves in an atmosphere from which they will come out full of ideas. I no longer wanted to be in an office, apart from the fact that all the works no longer entered a small space, but above all I wanted to tell how an artist lives, how his mind is, his living spaces, what it means to experiment and not to be afraid. Apart from the fact that in the period now, with the decline of many activities, keeping a fixed-cost office is not easy. This idea of doing courses in the artist's house was a causal evolution, which today is almost a salvation for many entrepreneurs, but is at the same time a more interesting reality for my students.
