I got my first iPhone in 2010 as a birthday present from my husband, downloaded Instagram and a few editing apps, and haven’t put my phone down since. I have always made art in some form, mainly painting, but the iPhone has given me the creative freedom to do things I’ve never done before.
My kids, Gabe and Pippin, are usually the subjects of my images which make them very personal. I like to tell a story, reminiscent of fairy tales, with both light and darkness present. I share these images on my Instagram channel to over 500,000 people every day.
The iPhone and editing apps available are powerful creative tools. I love that I can shoot and edit on something that is always with me. Some of my favorite apps are Filterstorm, Snapseed, Mextures, and Juxtaposer.

I do think that these works are creative. It doesn't matter what kind of app or effect you use. The art is what you create and HOW you create. Don't listen those who says these aren't creative works. These pictures are definitely creative and beautiful pieces. Thank you
