I am Nupur Dasgupta, a Nottingham-based artist. When I was a little girl, one of my favorite Disney movies was The Little Mermaid. Of course, being a little girl, I automatically believed that Ariel and her “mer-world” were a real phenomenon. I dream of living in a simple little house by a lake in the deep forest!
So I created this artwork. A lake surrounded by forest-inspired Wall art with preserved moss and resin.
When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with Disney movies. I loved the idea of the princess and her prince charming, Fairies, Fantasy, Magic, wicked witch, true love kiss, and living happily ever after. I couldn’t wait to grow up and feel the magic of true love! Besides that, I have a little obsession with crafting miniatures and arts. Most of my artworks are fantasy and fairyland-themed!
