In August I was invited for a wedding so I needed an outfit. I rarely shop for clothes (if I do, I do it in second hand shops), I’d rather design myself a new one. I didn’t want to buy a new dress this time neither, but the time was running and sewing was not on option.

As the date of the wedding approached, I was looking for an alternative solution.

A week before the occasion I found this deep blue colored material at home, which I had bought about a thousand years ago(1 meter just for about 490 HUF), and I started pinning it on myself. Like literally. Since it was summer anyway, my plan was to create something like a toga. In the picture below, I’m trying to show you how I did it in the end.

This was the first variation I improvised and it absolutely worked out. It lasted until the end of the night, and I could even dance in it! :)
