1. i’m asexual (ace)
2. when i tell people, they say i’m “too young to know” or “confused”.
and 3. people need to know what it’s like from the perspective of someone basically being told that they don’t know who they are when clearly they do!

From experience, eventually the "are you too young" questions will go away (obviously) but then the next thing to replace it is either "maybe you haven't found your exact type" or "were you sexually assaulted at some point?" Yes, people ask that. All the freaking time. I'm not even getting into all the attempts to start asking things like "have you ever tried" this or that or don't you ever touch yourself or those who would flat out tell you how "sad" your life is. I laugh straight in their face.
