I Made 11 Drawings Of Cats Feeling Excellent About Themselves!

These are some of my best cat drawings after having drawn hundreds of of them every day for a year!
I started drawing (at least) one drawing per day a year ago (9th September 2014) Everything I did was horrible in the beginning, but I’ve made progress! Since that day it’s amounted to almost 700 drawings and sketches.

Obviously (as this is the Internet) I’m going to focus on the CATS. Here are the eleven moggies I liked the best after my one year catrip! What do you think?

Benji the cat!

This one I made for someone who had to say goodbye to her cat, Benji. I drew him in pen and added watercolor on top.

Two cats fighting for attention!

These two felines are actually artificially crammed into that frame from two separate reference photos. I think it worked out pretty good, even though they weren’t as imposing in the photos!

The same Benji. This time only in pen – I think it turned out great.. Oh wait, the modesty! This went OK

Akira the cat in watercolor and pen

This one is called Akira. I don’t know what the look means, so stop asking!

I don’t know what this guy is plotting.. I used some “india ink” along with the pen and watercolor on this one!

A bundle of cats!

This is yet another composed pose! I’m not even sure if these three have even lived in the same time-span, so making a photo like this would have been pretty impossible. people say you can do anything with photoshop. I do it with a ballpoint pen and some watercolor.

Akira again. This time in pen. There’s still something about that look.. Disapproving?

Merlin the cat

And this old dude is Merlin. He’s 21 years old! Can you believe it?
