When I was younger, I used to write a lot. I was pretty sure that being a writer would be my entire future, until I started to lose interest and everything became unclear. I wasn’t doing it anymore but yet having many things to tell.
I had a mason jar full of colored pencils that I gattered from school and a huge interest on drawing people.
So it began: at first I just did portraits without a background story, but when I saw what I could do, I started to think of stories and then, on that basis, do the actual portrait.
I don’t usually tell the story, I let the drawing open to interpretation and see what people imagine out of it.
