I Design Animal-Inspired Caps Made Out Of Faux Fur – The Reaction From People On The Street Was Huge!
While studying fashion design I created the first two wolf caps for me and my best friend as we wanted to go partying with a unique look. Because it was in December and kind of cold I wanted to do us a favour and used the faux fur which my father gave to me some years ago. After the party we kept wearing these wolf caps because they were extraordinary cozy and warm.
There was a huge reaction from people on the street: On the one hand they were shocked and wanted to know if it is made out of (real) fur which makes me very happy because the mindset in society seems to change. In my opinion faux fur is made in such a good quality nowadays that murdering animals (and skin them alive!) is not AT ALL necessary! On the other hand they asked for one for themselves.
Some years and several wolves later other animals have been developed in my workspace. You guys probably like the recently finished giant panda the most.
My aim is to design comfortable clothing and accessories without exploiting humans nor nature and additionally equip customers with a unique look. Because of this mindset, everything on my page (Apollo-Artemis) is imagined, designed, developed and sewn by the same person.
