Boardgames, stationery, Japanese sweets, rock music.
My works are almost like comics without panels. One drawing is one big panel, in which the whole story is contained. I use elements of graphic design to tell a story, they form relationships with the characters and reveal their personalities.
Often times, sketchbook pages look more interesting than the final artworks. Sketchbook is an open field where you can play any game. Drawings come out very natural and truthful to the primal impulse of transferring an idea onto the paper. In my works I strive to keep the vulnerability of the initial drawing. Some lines might be wobbly, some elements are off, but they all carry the sketchbook charm.
