I Collect Lockdown-Window-Views From Around The World & Create A Virtual Trip For Everybody!

What do you see right now through your window?

What is your small escape during this difficult time…?

I have started a project called “Window to The World”. By collecting photos of what people see through their window, I want to create a virtual world trip, a possibility for everybody to virtually teleport themselves somewhere else and see what the world sees.

It’s a project about bringing people together in times when we are asked to stay apart…

For making it even more entertaining I decided to collaborate with an illustrator who is drawing our special avatar in every photo that we post on Instagram, representing each one of us, virtually visiting the different locations.

This is the art of photography, put in the hands of everyday people all over to share their little part of the world. Celebrating and investing in the creative potential we give to them.

With something so simple, we can help to record the planet during this hard time and build a global image of it in history, which can be looked back on in the future as documentation.

I believe that developing this idea will leave a positive impact on everyone, make us discover the world in an unusual way, and be a reminder of how thankful we should be for the smallest and most normal things in life.
