I Captured Different Versions Of Loneliness, Inspired By Oddments I Had At Home
I love building miniatures and lose every sense of time doing so. In this project I always started with the head I sculptured of air-drying clay, painted it and then continued with the body, sewed the clothes and tried to imagine a room or a world where my little people belonged. It was a very nice project and I enjoyed not knowing beforehand what the result would look like very much. This gave me the freedom to just go with the flow and to follow my intuition. I also loved the different kinds of craft I could use, i.e. the basket for the mushrooms is made of toilet paper I drilled, braided and painted.
I hope you enjoy my work and I would love to hear what you like or dislike about it.
In the end I would like to apologize for any kind of false grammar, poor expressions or typos. I’m from Germany, so I had to look up quite a few words for this text :)
