I created this OZ series with an old-school Polaroid camera and film. These images are manipulated right in the photo emulsion and are not digitally enhanced in any way. Every abstraction is done by hand as the film develops. As in ceramics, many factors can influence the final result, so I count on “Happy Accidents.”

Several images were accepted into the Judy Garland Museum many years ago. I still watch The Wizard of Oz annually, it’s touching story is just part of the American Experience.
