A lot of these memes focus on the recoveries neglected animal went through after finding their forever homes. Which is great. Caring for a companion animal goes far beyond providing food, water, and shelter. So seeing people putting in the effort to make the critters enjoy life is really awesome.

why aren't there any chickens on this post? aren't chickens pets too? i have chickens and they're so funny, they make the worst noises anyone has ever heard ngl
