In my Youtube series Studio 120, I talk about a myriad of subjects having to do with being an artist but in this one video I show & discuss how I set up my canvases & prep to paint.

Setting up new 3 canvases for 2 paintings with 3 portraits
Watered down black gesso brushed over white gesso and then whited down to greys
Aerosol over a few stripes of yellow acrylic paint applied for added texture
Orange aerosol is added to indicate the placement of figures

….then I start adding oil in thin layers to the two panel, 2 portrait canves set.
As shown the video, I also got a third figure underway.

Not finished, this simple portrait is about 70% done.
