TikTok User Compares Celebrity Photos Of How We Know Them Today To How They Looked In Their Youth (29 Pics)
A lot of older celebrities we know and love, or those who have passed away, are typically remembered, in terms of appearance, from a certain time period in their lives. For example, the legendary Marlon Brando is remembered by most for his role in The Godfather, and so, when most people think of Brando, they’ll imagine what he looked like in the Godfather era.
Here at Bored Panda, we were quite curious to see what these people used to look like in their youth. After all, a lot of us probably haven’t seen much footage of these celebrities before they became really famous. This list is based upon TikTok user h_e_i_d_ii’s series on what celebrities looked like when they were young. The series currently has 47 entries, with the most popular video having collected 5M views. Scroll down to see the list and consider voting for the entries that surprised you the most!

Boy, how wrong is this post's headline? If you have 'probably never seen' young Brando, young Loren, young Oldman(!) young De Niro, young Eastwood, you have probably not been looking.
A lot of us probably admire or somewhat follow the life and deeds of one celebrity or another. That is perfectly natural, considering celebrities are everywhere and come in a wide variety of characters, which eventually make us connect or relate to them in some way. Celebrities and their lives also provide us with a form of escapism. Sometimes watching a film, for example, with a certain actor or actress in it just isn’t enough to satisfy our desire to take a couple of steps away from our own path of life. Following that certain someone’s life through magazines, social media, etc. can give us that “fix” of escapism. That can be taken further, in a way, in the form of gossip about celebrities with friends and family, which can potentially provide a way to connect with others via the topic that is a celebrity’s life.

I can breathe properly thanks to James Earl Jones. I had what amounted to hayfever all year round. James Earl (or Sir James if he had been British) spoke about needing a humidifier in theatre dressing rooms for his sinuses due to rhinitis and I went straight to my doc. I was diagnosed with the same condition and prescribed a powerful nasal spray. That was a few years ago and it's still a novelty to be able to breathe without feeling as if someone's tickling my nostrils with nettle.
Celebrities can encompass many different areas of occupation, even per individual celebrity. They will typically start out with a specific occupation that will propel them to stardom, but some will go for more activities to add to their portfolio. For example, popular actors such as Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio appear not only on the silver screen, but at peace summits and even lecture theaters as well. Following the activities of such celebrities can be a great thing for people still pursuing their own identity or looking for inspiration, as these are examples of not only artists, but people that are passionate about making the world a better place.

Being a celebrity, contrary to popular belief, does not always necessarily mean an easy life or lifestyle. If you’re famous, there’s a good chance that at some point people will start recognizing you out on the street, at the store, cafe, etc. That means you would not be able to freely go about your day like most people do without having to engage yourself in social interactions with fans all the time. Having gone to the thread I feel like this should be titled "people that are now old and used to be young". A lot of those people were known for being hot in their youth and many still look good to this day. It's not exactly uncovering hidden identities.

All in all, being a celebrity probably is mostly not that bad. All the perks of being famous can certainly make life easier, but at the same time, surely different.

The hairline may be the result of tying extensions to her hair for years, which results in pulling some of the anchor hairs out by the roots. Do that enough, and you'll find some of the hair follicles shut down and stop growing new hairs, resulting in bald patches or thinning hair. But some women of her age just naturally get "female pattern baldness".

When they were a little known band and I was a bouncer, Anthony Kiedis came over to where I was standing in front of some railings keeping the punters back. He stuck his hands up my shirt and then wiped his sweaty face/head, all over my shirt. After the gig, people were offering me ridiculous amounts of money for the shirt, which I thought was very funny. But since it was a one-off shirt a friend had got me from California, it wasn't happening. And back then he was very pretty.

I don't get this one. I've always found her an ugly person on the outside and the inside. I remember watching a show about her modeling agency and she threw a hissy fit that she had to take on plus size models. She said if she had to starve herself and work for it then everybody should and we're talking about plus size models that are still drop dead gorgeous.

Imagine that...people get older! Who knew! This list didn't sit well with me... I felt like it was mean spirited "look how awful they look now!" sort of thing. I think Sir David is an incredible man, young or old, and I think Jon Bon Jovi is as great looking now as he ever was, while Cher looks better now because she bought a better face. I will probably get down voted, but this felt unkind.

Because most of the entries were famous beauties when they were young, and naming them won't be a surprise to anyone of a certain age or who takes an interest in things other than today's pop culture. And so many of the pictures are awful, I mean, they couldn't find a picture of Janice Dickinson looking beautiful?
