They say you're gonna regret it, you’ll get bored with it, it will look bad when you age, and so and so on. Although we know it’s not true, the prejudice against tattoos still exists, but it usually comes from people whose skin is a blank page.
Sometimes, however, tattoos do indeed turn out not quite as cool and beautiful as you imagined. And it’s fine. In fact, they may end up on this entertaining corner of Reddit which goes by the all-telling title “Shitty Tattoos.”

Hardly a turn of direction, it's literally a cover-up: 88 stands for 'Heil Hitler'. With H being the 8th letter of the alphabet, and A being the first --- this has been done by neonazis since the 80s or earlier; e.g. the UK nazis of Combat18 in the 90s with the 18 standing for their idol's initials, AH.

Not to brag, actually, I take that back. This is why I took a long time finding a GOOD tattoo artist for a tattoo idea that I needed them to create. This is supposed to last a lifetime people!! Ed Hardy had a tattoo studio here in San Francisco (this was before he retired). I spoke to him on the phone, and described what i wanted. He said he could do it, but that he was at his L.A. studio and wouldn't be in SF for a few months. I asked his opinion of Junii, an older Japanese woman tattoo artist that I saw online. He told me I would be in good hands with her. That was 12 years ago. My tattoo is still awesome, and I am glad I took the time to find an experienced good artist. Don't go to anyone just cuz they're cheap. Else, your tattoo might end up on Bored Panda...
