42 Bird Memes Shared By This Page That Prove Birds Are The Internet’s Most Underrated Comedians

Cats and dogs may rule the internet, but birds have been building a stand-up career of their own. Look closely and you’ll find a cast any sitcom would envy: round little fluffballs that seem to be all feathers and no body, parrots with a serious flair for drama, and pigeons whose idea of a nest is three twigs and a prayer. They scream, sulk, stare and judge, often within the same minute, and never seem to realize how funny they are.

That’s exactly what The Birbs Lounge celebrates. The Instagram page is packed with memes, odd photos and moments from the wonderfully weird world of our feathered friends, from cockatoos throwing full-blown tantrums to tiny songbirds who look done with the week by Monday morning. Pair a face that’s permanently offended, deeply confused or clearly plotting something with a well-timed caption, and the perfect meme practically writes itself.

We’ve picked some of the page’s funniest finds that might convince you birds deserve a comedy award of their own. Scroll down, enjoy these winged entertainers, and tell us in the comments which one made you laugh the hardest.
