Well they can be dangerous. Some years ago my sister adopted 2 Rottweilers. First 2 weeks they were very quiet & friendly. But one day when I took them for a walk a kid came on the other side of the road & they charged for the kid & dragged me along with them (I was flat on the ground getting dragged) . The kid ran away & luckily I hit a pillar on the other side of the road & I was still holding on to their leashes. My sister was with me so she tried to calmed them down. I was all bruised. I think the pillar saved the kid. But they are good guard dogs
