Literally: At art class in school! Mentally, on the verge of burning out, I have my AP test in 2 days and my final in 3 days, and just went through a period of having crippling anxiety for no apparent reason for a few weeks. Not to mention spring allergies are annoying and I am sleep deprived 😫 It’ll get better once that’s over and summer begins though :P

On the couch in my mom & dad’s 1940’s log home in Anchorage, Alaska. I came up from my home of thirty years in NYC to help my dad through a medical crisis. Ten years later my parents are both gone. I have their house, a job I love, and sweet family near by. I miss my parents. I will always miss the city and my community there.

I'm in the apartment with my cat buddy and we're watching the hummingbird feeder. It's 9:30 AM and 64 degrees. I'm procrastinating the chores I have today. No worries, I'm retired. It can be dull but it beats getting up early and driving with sun in my eyes (both ways) to job stress. Hey that's a happy thought. I think I'll smile the rest of the day.
