I would like to become myself again. Go to school and pick up all my hobbys again.
My husband's PTSD/anxiety/depression. It is so painful to watch and know I can't just magically fix it. He hurts so much. It's not fair. He's a good person, a great dad, a wonderful partner. The mental health medical industry has failed him terribly and he's slipped through the cracks.

The way school is not teaching math and English and science all the way through school but actually teach us careers that we want to follow along with life skills after elementary school
There are some places that do that. I think it was one of the Scandinavian countries- when you are 13ish you go into streamed high schools based on your interests/career goals. In my state (Victoria, Australia) students currently have the opportunity to do more practical subjects in year 11 and 12 if they are planning on going straight to work/tech school after high school. It used to be a separate certificate of applied learning, but now they have rolled it into the main certificate (not sure how that works). In preparation for choosing subjects or the applied learning based on what you want to do after school, we also had a compulsory subject called 'economy and society'. In it we did mock interviews, wrote resumes, learned about different career paths from people in the professions, and how to do things like apply for rentals, buy a car or apply for loans etc. We also did online modules that resulted in certificates we could include in our resumes, related to our planned career...
