I have so many of these but I'll start with just a few.1) School isn't the be-all, end-all. If you're having a bad time there, hang in because you will finish school one day and life gets so much better. I don't stay in touch with any of my "school friends" nowadays because looking back they were all toxic. No remorse.2) Don't be afraid to try for what you really want, even if people try and turn you off it. I had some awful teachers that put me off aiming for what I actually wanted to study (law) because they doubted I could do it. Sucks to them because that's what I'm doing now, and I adore it.3) People care. It might come from a completely random spot, but (most; there are some psychos) people don't want you to suffer. I know that personally I will help anyone if I can, whether I like them or not. They're my main ones; I'm sure I'll have more to add later. What about everyone else?

There's nothing wrong with you. Your parents are doing a bad job, so just be yourself and stop trying to please everyone but yourself. Things will get better and you'll find people who appreciate you.

Unless you're a m******r then maybe there is something wrong with you 😆 Seriously though, so many parents gaslight their kids into thinking that it's the kids that are s****y. Good parents do not make their kids feel like s****y people!

Oh, I thought of another! Ladies/people who menstruate, don't be embarrassed. Approximately half the population does too. If you leak/need a pad/tampon/etc you're more likely to get sympathy and what you want than laughed at (and anyone that laughs at you is a fûcking cûnt, sorry not sorry).

Save a little money every month, keep putting it away into an ISA, learn about the magic of compound interest. It will take a while, you may not see the point initially, but small, consistent amounts from a young age, carried on through life, means a comfortable life late on.

Fantastic point. Needs to be reiterated especially when people are younger because it can look like it won't turn into anything. I'm not sure what's common for kids re. pocket money these days, but if you put $10 a week away for five years from 10YO there's $2600 plus interest waiting for you when you're 15; a pretty decent start toward a clunker car or maybe a nice holiday, a good computer, etc etc. If you can put away more, obviously that'd be even better. If you can do this for "fun money" plus "future money" once you get a job you'll be setting yourself up for a more comfortable future.
