I hate the royal we. "Zoe, what are you doing?" "Writing the answer." "Well it looks like WE'RE doodling." (Actual conversation I had when my teacher was virtually teaching us) I seriously wanted to tell "IDK WHAT YOURE DOING BUT IM DOING WHAT IM SUPPOSED TO" ofc I didn't bc I would have gotten an office referral but still... Also if I was drawing who cares as long as my work is done.
Spending half of our staff meetings hearing people giving "kudos" to others - basically for doing the job they were supposed to do in the first place, nothing out of the ordinary, nothing based on extra effort. Can't stand it, don't need it, don't do it. With the magic of virtual meetings, that volume button on my PC is finally getting such good use!
