Well, idk what to say because how I did it was kinda dumb and didn't go well, but it wasn't horrible. They were dismissive and just said it wasn't real and that was the end of it. I have also had a few screaming matches with my mom about it. My best advice is to try and work it into a conversation and just be really nonchalant about it. Like make it seem like it is apart of or relates to the topic of the conversation. Or you can just sit them down and ask them to keep all comments and responses to themselves until you are done saying what you have to say so you can just get it all out in one go. You can tell them to please just ask questions nicely and not be aggressive about it because it matters a lot to you and that you would do the same if they had something super important to tell you. That's my advice, and I just hope it works because this is all I got and idk what else you could possibly do. Good luck to you Em!
