Eureka.
A few years ago, my parents started showing us their favorite shows and we started this one after finishing the Stargate franchise (my #2 favorite show is SG-1 and the movies are some of my favorite to put on in the background). But this show was BORING. There was no actual enemy. Something failed and they fixed it then another thing got destroyed... And there was no giant enemy to face and fight.
Clever, but boring.
