So, at one time my dad lived in an apartment. One day, he was out walking the dog (very dog friendly complex), and someone called the police because someone was aiming a rifle at a person in the dog lot. As far as I know, my dad was the only one there at the time. SO SOMEONE WAS AIMING A GUN AT MY DAD. The police came a few minutes later, and they had to search our apartment. Our balcony was facing the wrong way to be the suspect, so we were safe. But they had their tasers and guns drawn. It was terrifying. The person who aimed the gun at my dad turned out to be the guy above us. He was on drugs. Ultimately he got arrested. We moved out a few days later.
