(Please) Describe an event or situation where/ when no one was around, and you did something for a TOTAL stranger "just because it was the RIGHT thing to do."

(Example):
5:30(ish) am on the return trip from my usual morning walk. I noticed a female wearing nothing more than a pair of panties and a t-shirt.
I asked her, "Where are your pants?"
She replied, "They got wet."
I then proposed to her, "IF it is all right with you, may I give you the pants I am wearing?"
She asked, "Are they a size medium?"
"As a matter of fact, they are." immediately came my reply.
When I heard her reply, "yes." I moved quickly through the awkwardness of taking those thermal pants off outside, ...on the sidewalk, ...in front of EVERYONE.
The moment of satisfaction came when just before putting them on, she responds with, "M-mm. They smell good."
I thanked her [1. for letting me give her something to cover herself with, and 2. for giving me a compliment(?!)] before going about my way home.
*** To be clear, I was wearing the thermal pants underneath a LONG dress.
