Tell everyone a story that almost caused havoc!

I once went to Milan by plane to spend a weekend there. I don’t need a suitcase full of clothes for two days, so I only had hand luggage.
In Milan I bought a gorgeous corkscrew but then realised that there was a knife attached to it so I couldn’t take it with me on the plane back home.
I actually considered putting the corkscrew in my boot but in the end I didn’t do that.
Lucky me!
I had buckles on my boots that weren’t in any way suspicious at my airport at home but totally were in Milan! Two officers took me to a room where they had a special gear for inspecting shoes. I also had to take them off for them to have a look inside.
Holy cow, if I had been so stupid to really put the corkscrew in my boot, I don’t want to know what would have happened.

Half of the caf. and I heard her say: " omg yesterday my crush saw me pick out things at victoria's secret" and i shouted " BEST TELL VICTORIA HER SECRETS OUT" she could have started making fun of me, but i was the quiet kid.

I was helping my father work on a car and the other person, let's call them Tom, there had forgotten to put the oil filter on, so I 1 minute before the car started I walked out to see what my father and Tom were doing. They then started the car and oil started shooting out of the block and I ran to the car door and started banging it giving a sign to turn the car off. If I was not there at that moment, a bad thing would have happened.

I did technical support for Apple through IBEX Global in Spring Hill, TN. They tracked our metrics in great detail and I had a high customer satisfaction rating. But one day they took me aside and accused me of stealing company time. They said I had been tricking the system into thinking I was working when I was actually taking downtime. But I'm not that clever or devious and told them it must be a mistake. "It's pretty clear on our end," they said. "But you can go wait in the lounge while we check with our sources in the Philippines." Initially panicked, I prayed about it and actually managed to fall asleep. Eventually they came and said my story checked out. No apologies. That two hour nap turned out to be the only unscheduled down time I got away with.
